The arena

At the edge of every world

Dead civilisations bleed into one ruined arena. Legions, smiths, gods and fen-monsters all end up on the same sand.

You walk in as a Recruit, in rags, with a longsword. Nobody knows your name.

Frankendom: Origins is one world, always on, for everyone at once. The Pit is where you start. Beyond its gate lies the first zone, now in preview: the Concord Exchange, where you bank, trade and have a smith work your gear, and the Ash Frontier, with its towns, bounties and beasts.

A fight is quick and a lesson in it is deep: four buttons, no random stats, and a foe you learn to read.

The hundred

Ten foes. Ten names each.

Every opponent wears a legend at each rank, taken from myth, folklore, ancient history or a book older than 1900. You do not beat the Pitborn at Champion. You beat Grendel.

    The ladder

    From rags to gold

Fifty steps: ten ranks of five. Every win is one step up. A loss costs nothing and never sends you down. Your rank decides what you wear, never how hard you hit.
